Services
At Sharp Physiotherapy, every treatment plan is built around you — your injury, your goals, and your preferences. Below is an overview of the services available.
Injury assessment & rehabilitation
A thorough assessment is the foundation of effective treatment. I take the time to understand your problem fully, establish a clear diagnosis, and develop a personalised rehabilitation plan to get you back to doing what you love — as quickly and safely as possible.
Neck & back pain
Spinal pain is one of the most common reasons people seek physiotherapy. Whether you’re dealing with an acute flare-up or chronic, long-standing pain, I offer hands-on treatment including joint mobilisation, manipulation and soft tissue therapy, alongside exercise-based rehabilitation to build long-term resilience.
Sports physiotherapy
Whether you’re a weekend warrior or a competitive athlete, injury is frustrating. I work with people of all fitness levels to achieve accurate diagnosis, targeted treatment and a structured return-to-sport programme — so you can get back to training with confidence.
Manual, manipulative & massage therapy
Hands-on treatment is central to my approach. I am trained in advanced manual and manipulative therapy techniques, including spinal and joint manipulation, mobilisation, and therapeutic massage. These techniques are used alongside exercise therapy to deliver the best possible outcome.
Acupuncture & dry needling
I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Acupuncture from AUT University and use both acupuncture and dry needling as part of an integrated treatment approach. These evidence-based techniques can be highly effective for pain relief, muscle tension, headaches and a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Pilates & exercise therapy
Exercise is medicine. I am trained in both reformer and mat Pilates and incorporate a wide variety of exercise-based rehabilitation including strength and conditioning, stretching and flexibility work, and Pilates-based programmes — all tailored to your goals and progressed over time.
Not sure what you need?
That’s completely fine — book an initial assessment and we’ll figure it out together. No GP referral is required, and if your injury is ACC-eligible, we can register your claim at your first appointment.
